The Camp Parks FMWRC mission is to create and maintain "FIRST CHOICE" MWR products and services for America's Army, essential to a ready, self-reliant force.
This position is for the Outreach Services Director with collateral duties as Family Child Care Support Director. This position covers two installations: Parks Reserve Forces Training Area in Dublin, CA and Moffett Field in Mountain View, CA. These installations are approximately 45 minutes apart. This position requires multiple days of travel and could consist of a 3/2 day schedule between installations. This position requires implementing outreach programs where there are no CYS Services programs such as a Child Development Center or Teen Center. This position will require the OS Director to work directly with other staff members for all outreach activities with two administrative assistants as support staff. Position hours are from 7:30am to as late as 12:00am with specific activities. The position requires that the OS Director function in multiple roles as the Director and Trainer for the Staff.

Applies extensive, professional knowledge to plan, implement, and supervise a comprehensive program that promotes positive growth and development of children and youth. Provides program oversight and accountability for the performance of staff and the safety and well being of children and youth in accordance with DoD, Army and local policies and standards. Develops policies, procedures and SOPs to support program goals. Majority of assignments are performed independently with technical assistance from the CYS Coordinator when required. Position demands a strong CYSS presence as well as support in outreach activities, camps, SKIES programs and special events. The OS Director position will require establishing and mentoring to partnerships in the local and surrounding communities regarding school support mentoring and intervention services. Will require parent registrations and orientate and monitoring upkeep of child files to include health assessments, immunizations, USDA, and all other aspects of current registration requirements. Will serve as the representative for the CYSS Coordinator and will be required to attend all Command Staff meetings and events. The position will also include implementation of both 4-h and BGCA programs and activities as well as outreach programs for the on post community at both installations. May be required to recruit and hire qualified personnel utilizing Army CYS Standard Position Descriptions. Supervises and evaluates employees based on established standards. Develops program budget and provides to CYS Coordinator for CYS Budget. Manages program to budget. Prepares reports, surveys, and briefings for command and installation on matters pertaining to CYS. Performs other duties as assigned.
