NOTE: This is a TERM appointment (not-to-exceed 4 years). Term appointments are non-status, nonpermanent appointments of limited duration. Term employees are eligible to earn leave and generally have the same benefits as permanent employees including health and life insurance, within-grade increases and Federal Employees Retirement System and Thrift Savings Plan coverage. Term appointments may be extended without further competition.

These positions are located in Cincinnati, Ohio at the VHA National Center for Organization Development Office and performs a variety of data processing, data analysis, consultation, research, training and administrative duties.

Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Recording and collecting research data;
  • Preparing tabular or graphic presentation of data according to predetermined research plan;
  • Providing follow-up consultation and administrating/scoring of interest, achievement and aptitude tests;
  • Using standardized data processing and data analysis techniques as applied to surveys and standardized interview data;
  • Providing assistance in empirically-grounded project design or redesign and the implementation of data-based strategic, tactical, and operational projects using existing or new data;
  • Participating in action research, the analysis and interpretation of results, and the providing of results feedback to the planning process;
  • Keeping abreast of scientific/professional literature;
  • Developing and presenting summarized findings from processed organizational data for top-level management officials to use in
  • public presentations; and,
  • Performing all other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8:00am - 4:30pm
