Location: This position is within the Office of Acquisition & Logistics in Frederick, MD.

Duties

Major Duties:

  • Manages projects, conducts analysis, and establishes metrics, processes and issues policy in support of the Electronic Contract Management System (eCMS), Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS), and Contractor Performance System/Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPS/CPARS) and other Acquisition related systems.
  • Plans, organizes, analyzes, evaluates, and controls projects through the application of project management principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Provides overall leadership and consultation in developing and planning strategies for major agency projects and programs which are of national scope impacting the acquisition workforce of the Department.
  • Performs supervisory and managerial functions such as, planning work to be accomplished by subordinates; establishing work schedules, priorities, and procedures; advising employees on work and administrative matters; developing performance standards and work methods.
