Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.
This vacancy will be used to support Summer Camps within Child, Youth, and School Services located on Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
These positions are NTE 25 SEP 2013 but may be extended to support the daily operations of the organization. This is a Flexible position and work schedule can be between 00-40 hours per week based on mission requirements and program needs. You must be available to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Applicants that have indicated they are not available for the weekend/shift duty outlined in this announcement will not be referred and considered ineligible for consideration.
The application form DA 3433-2 is required to be submitted at the time of application. Applicants that do not submit this form will not have a complete application and be rated ineligible for this position.
The Child Development Associate (CDA) or Army School Age Credential (including Boys and Girls of America) or Army Practicum certificates OR Unofficial transcripts to verify completion of degree MUST be attached with the application package in order to qualify for Skill Level-3/Target Level-4. If the required supporting documents are not attached, applicants will receive consideration for an Entry level position.
