A successful candidate in this position will lead the Business Systems Innovation and Special Projects program in the Office of Information and Business Management.  Supervise analytical staff in ongoing EERE wide organizational analyses and reviews; assess organizational performance, productivity and sustainability; implement Lean Six Sigma and other continuous process improvement methodologies; determine change readiness and management; and manage multiple, ad hoc and on-going critical special projects having high visibility and sensitivity to EERE and DOE.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

As a Supervisory Management Analyst, you will:

  • Conduct and/or lead EERE corporate organizational assessments, review businesses processes and organizational alignment to ensure continuous process improvement.

  • Manage ad hoc and long-term, special projects,including, reviews and studies; solicitations; reorganizations/realignments/transfers-of-function; and issues that cut across multiple EERE/DOE organizations.

  • Supervise staff, conducting compliance reviews and analyses throughout EERE on performance measures and orgaznization assessments.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:

Experience developing, planning, and implementing Lean Six Sigma process improvements and other continuous process improvement methodologies advising management officials on deploying Lean Six Sigma for program improvements/change.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

2. Ability to lead and manage ad hoc and long-term special projects involving cross-cutting initiatives of special interest to senior-level government officials and requiring delicate and diplomatic handling.


3. Ability to effectively supervise and manage a mixed Federal/contractor workforce.
