This position is located in the Center for Delivery, Organizations and Markets (CDOM), Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), in Rockville, Maryland.

-The incumbent contributes to the efficiency and productivity of the Center by managing controlled correspondence and other priority documents, managing office moves and logistics, and conducting other administrative tasks needed for the smooth operation of the Center.

-Develops a variety of background materials, informational packages, outlines and meeting/presentation documents for the Agency Staff.

-Use of routine Office and research software and electronic programs, such as: Excel, End Note, Access, Power Point, Project Manager, and/or other similar resources to assist staff in collecting, compiling, and tracking Agency products, publications and articles, data information, and related Agency-sponsored projects that align with the Center's public reporting initiative and related projects.

-Maintenance of Informational Databases and other automated systems to track progress, uses, and effect of Agency Products.

-Working with research and program staff to understand needs of informational databases and intended expectations of the information captured within these databases.

-Assist Agency in designing and development of visual information, graphic displays, logos, etc. for printed, web-based, and electronic media.  Working with Staff in drafting, preparing, posting, and maintaining information posted to the Agency intranet and internet sites.

-Assist Agency staff with a variety of special projects, the preparation of Federal Register notices and OMB clearance submissions; organizing responses to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders (Controlled Correspondence) and drafting those responses as appropriate.

-Establish and maintain office files and record systems. Ensuring that files and records are maintained in accordance with applicable regulations, policies, and directives, in a manner that facilitates the work of the CDOM staff.

-Exercises initiative and coordinates with professional staff in responding to requests for information or actions of an administrative nature.
