The Army's Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DFMWR) vision is to be the driving force for programs and services that provide for the Army's home and enhance the lives of its Soldiers, Families, Civilians and Military Retirees. Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military but crucial to support military operations.
These Supervisory Program Specialist positions are located at Mesa School Age Services (SAS) and East Child Development Center (CDC). Age groups for these facilities are 5-12 years of age and 0-5 years of age. Must be available to work between the hours of 5:30am through 6:30pm Monday through Friday and subject to an IRREGULAR tour of duty to include nights, weekends, holidays and split shifts. This is a Regular Part-Time position with a guaranteed workweek of 20 to 39 hours per week. Will work in-ratio fifty percent of the time providing breaks for assigned staff, modeling appropriate behavior, and providing program oversight and accountability during all hours of program operation. The dress code for this position is business casual. Child, Youth and School Services (CYSS) employees are inclement weather essential. These positions may be converted to Regular Full-Time (40 hpw) without further competition.
