This Program Analyst position is located in the Program Management Policy Compliance and Communications Branch, Technology Infrastructure Modernization (TIM) Division, Office of Intelligence and Analysis (OIA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). If selected for this position, you will apply your experience and comprehensive knowledge of assigned program principles, concepts, regulations, and practices, analytical methods and techniques performing multiple, varying, and complex assignments in your program area. Typical assignments may include but are not limited to:
- Facilitating group communications through conference calls, listservs, and meetings; producing minutes and reports.
- Coordinating stakeholder development strategies and initiatives.
- Representing the TIM Program at various committees and forums to promote awareness of the TIM Program.
- Producing online, print publications, and other outreach and informational materials.
- Developing communication materials, proposals, and presentation materials to ensure the efficient pursuit of the TIM Program goals.

To qualify for the SV-I Pay Band (equivalent to GS-13), you must have one year of specialized experience at the SV-H or GS-12 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that has equipped you with the knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Examples of such experience would include designing and maintaining a website, iShare site, and other online communications strategies; developing and implementing a strategic communications plan, including benchmarks and a communications strategy for stakeholders; and developing an online newsletter, determining communications priorities, and forecasting resource needs.
NOTE: Credit for experience is given based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time experience is credited on a part-time ratio, i.e., working 20 hours per week for two months equals one month of experience. No additional credit is given for overtime.
