This vacancy is for a Management and Program Analyst (Web Content Manager) position in the Communications Division, located at the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Economic Analysis in Washington, DC.
This non-supervisory position is part of the Web Branch of the Communications Division at BEA. This branch is responsible for maintaining both the public internet site for the bureau and the intranet for BEA employees. The employee will be tasked with significant responsibility toward the branch's overall goals, including spearheading important Web-based communications initiatives that allow for timely, logical, robust and intuitive presentation of relevant information for multiple audiences. The employee will be competent in the technical, project management and content aspects of various projects. He or she will also be tasked with interacting with subject matter experts -- mainly economists, statisticians, and/or accountants -- as well as other stakeholders, such HR Specialists, bureau executives, content editors, IT professions and others.
