This is a non-status, non-permanent position. You do not acquire a competitive or excepted service status from this position.
This position is located in the Domestic Management and Engineering (DME) Branch, Facilities Security Engineering Division, Office of Security Technology within the Countermeasures Directorate, Bureau of Diplomatic Security. The Facilities Security Engineering Division is tasked with the responsibility for the design, engineering, installation, maintenance, and oversight of physical and technical security systems and services for over 147 domestic Department of State facilities nation-wide.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Relocation expenses will NOT be paid.

- Incumbent will be subject to random drug testing.
- Overseas travel may be required.
