To qualify for Financial Management Specialist GS-0501-09 your qualifications must include:
At least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent in the level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the GS-07 in the Federal Service that has equipped me with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as:
· Experience conducting internal audits
· Experience verifying, entering and adjusting budgetary data in a variety of forms, schedules and reports
· Experience monitoring year-end closing to ensure proper and full use of funds
· Experience resolving financial management issues
To qualify for Financial Management Specialist GS-0501-11 your qualifications must include:
At least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent in the level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the GS-09 in the Federal Service that has equipped me with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as:
· Experience conducting and responding to financial audits
· Experience tracking and maintaining funding levels for contracts, Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR), travel and other various accounts
· Experience serving as the point of contact on fiscal matters
· Experience reviewing financial proposed regulation revisions and submit changes as required
· Experience providing contracting support by developing acquisition strategies and managing procurements
