Duties:

·         Experience with healthcare inspection agencies (i.e., Joint Commission, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, NYS DOH, Office of the Inspector General).

·         Working knowledge of the Root Cause Analysis Process and the Joint Commission Patient Safety Goals.

·         Working knowledge of the Adverse Event and Close Call (near miss) reporting process.

·         Demonstrated ability in data collection, aggregation and analysis.

·         Experience with medical record chart reviews related to adverse events.

Requirements for this position are as follows:

·         BSN

·         5 Years of RN experience in a variety of clinical settings

·         Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and data bases

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills
