USAIDs headquarters is centrally located in downtown Washington, DC, at the prestigious Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center on 14th and Pennsylvania Avenue N.W. We are located right on the Federal Triangle Metro (Blue and Orange Lines). The office is within walking distance of restaurants, shops, Smithsonian Institution museums and Washington Monument.
This position is located in the Bureau for Management's, Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Planning and Administration Division, (M/CIO/ITA/DA). The Data Management Division (DM) is responsible for the development and execution of data life cycle policies that affect all agency automated information systems. The division establishes agency-wide standards, policies, procedures, and techniques for managing the flow of data from creation and storage to utilization and deletion. The DM manages an agency-wide repository of metadata and code tables that facilitate data sharing and integration through the re-use of data assets. The division is responsible for developing and supporting a data quality program that affects all business systems and data users. The division will institute and coordinate statistical policy guidance for the OCIO office.
