The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), leads research to understand, treat, and prevent infections, immunologic and allergic diseases.
This position is located in the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Office of the Director (OD), Office of Science Management and Operations (OSMO), Office of Research Operations (ORO). The ORO provides short- and long-range planning for all NIAID Divisions and offices and develops and oversees the implementation of strategic facilities and space plans.

If selected for this position, you will perform the following duties:
Responsible for a large number of broad activities of the ORO involving the construction, operation, and maintenance of NIAID facilities.
Coordinate oversight and operations of NIAID-occupied facilities and facility contracts.
Manage complex contract administration programs in support of NIAID facilities programs.
Perform technical assessments of existing facilities to determine condition and renovation requirements.
Gather data using techniques such as quantitative analysis surveys, interviews, and research.
Work with customers and project managers on project planning for individual projects.
Coordinate and resolve issues and integrate NIAID's customer requirements with the various organizations within NIH.

You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sectior, performing the following types of tasks:
developing and monitoring technical contracts for the planning, operations, and analyses of facilities; developing statements of work; planning and conducting technical studies to evaluate facilities issues; and coordinating short and long-term facilities planning and project development.
