Works as a NAF HR Assistant with Desert Mountain CPAC. Main focus will be servicing the Texas Roadhouse staffing and employee/manager relations.

Processes a wide variety of routine and complex personnel actions requiring an in-depth knowledge of NAF civilian personnel rules and regulations. Provides advice and assistance to lower level employees on the preparation and processing of documents related to pay, compensation, benefits training, permanent change of station moves and/or other aspects of NAF employment. Receives and rates applications for employment. Prepares referrals and arranges for interviews at the request of management. Writes and posts job announcements. In-processes and out-processes employees, conducts orientations and interviews potential candidates for employment opportunities as required. Ensures the maintenance of the automated personnel database. Establishes and maintains official folders, files and reports.

Progressively responsible work experience in personnel. Ability to communicate orally and deal effectively with people of diverse backgrounds. Ability to type and perform office automation functions.


 

Conditions of employment:

 

1. A one-year probationary period may be required upon selection.
