This position is in the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention (NCHHSTP), Division of Tuberculosis (DTBE), Office of the Director (OD),  located in Atlanta, Georgia.

Serve as senior public health advisor and coordinator of national public health program activities in DTBE. Manage, establish, and integrate knowledge of public health programs and policies to provide guidance on cross cutting procedural and multi-layered and multifaceted policy issues to other components of the agency and other governmental agencies; resolve problems and modify procedures. Identify and analyze issues and their impact on public health policies as they relate to the Division's programs. Lead the design, implementation, and analysis of significant collaborative studies with national or international policy or program implications. Review and assess the effectiveness of current public health policies and determine where new or changed policies are required to effectively execute public health programs, missions, and functions. Provide consultation and technical assistance on epidemiology, public health training and prevention effectiveness.
