The position is Technical Writer-Editor (Computer Information Science and Engineering), in the Office of the Assistant Director, Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE). CISE's mission is to promote computer and information science and engineering research and education; to promote understanding of the principles and uses of advanced computer, communications, and information systems in service to society; and to contribute to universal, transparent, and affordable participation in an information-based society. The work of this position centers on carrying out a variety of writing, editing, and analytical activities to communicate information about CISE support for investigator initiated research, development of national computing and information scientific initiatives, and contributions to scientific and engineering education and training.
