This position is located within the Depot Logistics OFC (6.0H), Aviation Readiness and Resource Analysis Department (6.8), Logistics Product Data Division (6.8.5) at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE), Jacksonville. The incumbent is assigned to an Integrated Program Team (IPT) or Fleet Support Team (FST) and is a technical data management project leader for the program, with responsibility for coordinating the technical data requirements for assigned program(s).

-Evaluate new programs or modification to aircraft weapons systems and related subsystems.

-Providing milestones/delivery dates regarding development of technical documents for specific weapons systems and subsystems.

-Coordinate with program engineers, technicians, and logisticians personnel to develop acquisition requirements for technical data packages on program modifications.

-Prepare statements of work for contracting engineering services and hardware maintenance.

In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal Service performing the following duties 1) Utilizing publishing software applications (such as Arbortext, Quicksilver (Interleaf), Framemaker, Adobe Professional, Vector Image, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator etc.) to update manuals and other publications, 2) Preparing budgets, cost proposals, and Statement of Works (SOW) for aircraft weapon system technical data modification projects and 3) Evaluating contracts and contractors for adherence to technical data requirements. OR

Have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree;OR

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR

LL.M. if related to the position. OR

Have a combination of experience as described above and education as described above which, when combined, is equivalent to 100% of the qualification requirement.

-Moderate physical activity is required including walking on varied surfaces, climbing stairs, ladders, carrying materials up to 40 pounds, bending, or stooping in order to access aircraft and systems.

-Physical ability and manual dexterity to perform highly detailed computer text and graphics work for extended periods is required. This requires the ability to see clearly performing inspections for quality assurance on highly detailed computer text and graphics.

-Work is performed usually in an office setting with occasional assignment in industrial workspaces, aircraft hangers, onboard ship where industrial hazards and flight line conditions are encounter.

-May occasionally provide operational support by working at remote sites under arduous conditions, with a concentrated work effort over several days, and without regard to normal working schedules.

-The Incumbent will be required to use appropriate safety precautions and personal protective safety equipment.
