WHAT TO EXPECT NEXT:

NOTICES TO APPLICANTS

HR Offices will review the applications for basic requirements only (i.e., each basic requirement as stated in the qualification standard). HR Offices will not review applications for minimum qualifications (e.g., specialized experience requirements).

Notices are sent to applicants for Title 38 vacancies at three points in the recruitment process: when the application is received, when applicants are determined to be ineligible, when applicants are referred, and when a selection is made. USA Staffing automatically sends an acknowledgment notice. The HR recruiter sends the remaining notices. Note that the HR recruiter does not send Notice of Rating letters. This is because HR recruiters do not determine qualifications and in fact qualifications are only determined when a selection is made.

The first notice sent by the HR recruiter is to any ineligible candidates (those who fail to meet basic requirements for the vacancy). The second notice sent by the HR recruiter is the referral notice. (For Title 38 vacancies, all eligible applicants are referred.) The third notice is the disposition notice, informing candidates that a selection has been made. The selected candidate is also notified in writing that they are selected.

WHEN APPLICANTS ARE DETERMINED INELIGIBLE:

HR recruiters screen for basic requirements (such as citizenship or equivalent status, proficiency in English, and required license or degree). When an applicant is determined to be ineligible because they fail to meet a basic requirement, the HR recruiter notifies the applicant that the applicant is ineligible and will not be considered further.

IMPORTANT NOTE: As previously explained, your ratings in this Occupational Questionnaire are subject to evaluation and verification based on the documents and references you submit. Later steps in the selection process are specifically designed to verify your ratings. Deliberate attempts to falsify information may be grounds for not selecting you or for dismissing you from the position/agency during the probation period. Please take this opportunity to review your ratings to ensure their accuracy. By agreeing to the statement below, you are confirming that you (1) understand this warning, (2) have reviewed your responses to this questionnaire for accuracy, and (3) verify that your responses accurately describe your current level of experience and capability. Failure to agree to the statement below will disqualify you from further consideration for the position.
