This position is located in the Managing Director for Content Support Services (IIP/CSS). IIP/CSS is responsible (1) for developing, implementing, and maintaining custom software specifically developed for Public Diplomacy (PD) programs, domestically and overseas; (2) for managing the use of software and the exchange of IT information with other Federal Agencies, the private sector and non-government organizations (NGOs) who participate in the Department's various education and cultural exchange programs; and (3) for providing advice to IIP/CSS, Bureau, and Department managers on technical, operational, and administrative matters related to IIP/CSS's software and its development, enhancement, and maintenance. This position is also being announced through Merit Promotion procedures under Announcement # IIP-2013-0022.
