This position is located in the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute (AFRRI), Veterinary Sciences Department. The mission of the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute (AFRRI) is to conduct research in the field of radiobiology and related matters essential to the operational and medical support of the Department of Defense and military services. The Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute (AFRRI) also provides services and performs cooperative research with other federal and civilian agencies and institutions. You may be required to perform duties in connection with the care, management, and nutrition of the laboratory animals used in research programs of the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute (AFRRI) and assists in the sub technical operation of the animal facility under close supervision and direction of an Animal Caretaker Leader.
