To qualify for the GS-09, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience participating in the installation, administration, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of an organizations hardware, software, and information systems and providing technical support to customers who need advice, assistance, and training in applying hardware and software systems; OR possess a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. Your undergraduate degree or graduate education must be in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or a degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
To qualify for the GS-11, your resume must demonostrate at least one year of specialized experience performing the installation, administration, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of an organizations hardware, software, and information systems and providing technical support to customers who need advice, assistance, and training in applying hardware and software systems; and maintaining security access levels to systems and programs; OR possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. Your undergraduate degree or graduate education must be in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or a degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR: In order to qualify for this position you must have experience working with Dental Digital Imaging Systems such as XRayVision, Sirona, Sidexis and Shick. This experience must be reflected in your resume in order to be considered for this position. If your resume does not reflect this experience, you will not be considered for this position.
This position requires the incumbent to possess or attain an Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification within timeframes proscribed in the Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program DoD 8570.01-M.
