Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience extracting and interpreting pertinent information from various law enforcement databases to be submitted to investigators.
Experience applying knowledge of federal law enforcement statutory authorities, policies, and regulations governing investigative activities, laws, regulations, and procedures.
Experience formulating policy and procedures, developing detailed reports, reflective of past work product, benchmarks, anticipated accomplishments, justifications, and other documents as required by management.
Experience performing duties of a Systems Control Officer of CJIS or comparable systems monitoring system, enforcing system security, and auditing and assuring that all users follow operating procedures.
Experience utilizing knowledge of organization principles and practices to perform comprehensive planning of regulations, guidelines, budgets, and business processes.
There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-12 position.
