  • Coordinating efforts to obtain program data to facilitate tracking progress in meeting objectives and using resources.
  • Utilizing Microsoft Word/similar word processing applications creates documents (e.g. letters, memorandums, and/or reports).
  • Greeting visitors and referring them to the appropriate person/location.
  • Performing a wide variety of record keeping, updating manuals, reporting and informational duties to support the organizations' programs, functions and projects.

In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered.  Your resume is the key means we have for evaluating your skills, knowledge, and abilities, as they relate to this position. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)producing and maintaining informaiton from databases or tracking systems; 2) researching errors in databases to take administrative corrective actions; and 3) reviewing, collecting, analyzing data for submission.

 

This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute.  Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.

REQUIREMENTS: 

Selectee is required to participate in the Department of Defense direct deposit of pay program.

May be required to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station.

Must be willing and able to travel on military and commercial aircraft.

May be required to work overtime.

May be required to work overtime on an emergency basis.

A 40 hour work week is typical for this position.

 

Physical Demands:  The work is mostly sedentary. No special physical demands are involved.  There may be some walking, standing, bending or carrying of light items.

 

Work Enviornment:  The incumbent works in an adequately lighted and ventilated office environment.  Observes normal safety precautions.
