FOR THE GS-11 LEVEL: Applicants must have one (1) year of Specialized Experience equivalent to the GS-9 level. Specialized Experience is:
* Provided medical care in a medical or occupational health setting.
* Presented occupational health programs.
FOR THE GS-12 LEVEL: Applicants must have one (1) year of Specialized Experience equivalent to the GS-11 level. Specialized Experience is:
*Provided medical care in a medical or occupational health setting.
*Managed and delivered occupational health programs.
*Coordinated Drug Deterrance Program.
*Developed and implemented employee wellness plans and programs.
(PLEASE NOTE: Experience with providing occupational health programs is not required; but preferred).
Education can be substituted for specialized experience at the GS-11 only and is as follows:
Must possess completion of all requirements for a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education. Education must have been in nursing, preferrably with a concentration in Occupational Health.
