Reclamation is seeking a career professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on his/her expertise as a Reclamation Guide. You can make a difference in the West by assisting in meeting increasing water demands while protecting the environment. The incumbent works in the Visitor Center at Hungry Horse Dam and provides tours of the facility to the general public during the summer tourist season.
The career ladder promotion potential of this position is the GS-04 level. However, this position may be filled at a lower grade. If so, when and if it is determined that a subsequent promotion is warranted, it may be made without further competition. Promotion up to and including the GS-04 level is neither guaranteed nor automatic.

This is a TEMPORARY FULL TIME position. This position is expected to commence in May, 2013. Employment is expected to last until approximately September 21, 2013 but may be extended at management's discretion not to exceed two years, and is subject to termination at any time. Selection does not confer eligibility to be promoted or reassigned to other positions or to be non-competitively converted to a career-conditional appointment.
