SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: In order to qualify for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Preparing quality assurance plans, performing pre-award contract tasks (reviewing or developing contract specifications, conducting pre-award site visits and attending pre-award conferences).
- Perform contract quality assurance tasks such as preparing inspection schedules based on surveillance sampling procedures, performing onsite in-process and after process inspections.
- Preparing written documentation of inspection observations, interpreting contract plans and specifications for the contractor and analyzing adverse quality trends or conditions to determine appropriate corrective actions and discussing with contractor any deviations from contract terms.
- Performing contractor administration tasks such as reviewing contractor's invoices and recommending payments, preparing cost estimates, evaluating contract modifications and change orders and preparing cost schedules.

Physical Demands: Work requires extended periods of walking, kneeling, crouching, stooping and climbing, ladders while inspecting buildings, equipment and grounds.
Work Environment: Work is performed indoors/outdoors; incumbent is exposed to extreme temperatures, dust/dirt, poor ventilation and dampness when inspecting grounds, exposed areas, piers and void spaces under buildings.
