-Provide supervision, direction, oversight, control, and coordination of Fisheries Group programs.
-Implement and oversee a robust monitoring and research program which includes: species research, system monitoring, pre/post site development monitoring, and adaptive management processes.
-Develop and maintain close and cooperative working relationships with MSCP partner agencies, land owners, land managers, Federal, State, and local governments, conservation organizations, and regulatory bodies, on the lower Colorado River.
-Implement a native fish population augmentation program.
-Coach and mentor, and develops performance standards and evaluates work performance.
-Provide general management and oversight related to human resources, procurement, use of government equipment, training, staff development, safety awareness, and Equal Employment Opportunity initiatives; provides initial direction, boundaries, constraints, and framework, for work of the Group.

GS-13: In order to qualify for the GS-13 grade level, your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience.
Specialized Experience for GS-13: Defined as experience leading a multi-disciplined team performing species research, system monitoring, pre/post site development monitoring, and adaptive management processes. Experience should also demonstrate the ability to provide supervision, leadership and guidance to subordinate staff on natural resources initiatives, environmental and/or biological activities.
Supervisory Competencies: Applicants should possess proficiency or the potential to develop proficiency in the following competencies for successful performance of Federal supervisory work: (accountability, customer service, decisiveness, flexibility, integrity/honesty, interpersonal skills, oral communication, problem solving, resilience, and written communication). Category rating and selection procedures will be used for evaluating this position.
