1. Subject to a background/suitability investigation and designated and/or random drug testing may be required.
2. English language proficiency as required by 38 USC 7402(d) and 7407(d).
3. Male students born after December 31, 1959 are required to have registered with the Selective Service.
4. Applicant must either:
(a)have been awarded, a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Masters of Business Administration MBA), Health Services Administration (MHSA), Public Administration (MPA), Public Health (MPH), Public Administration (MPA), or other Health Care Management/Administration Degree accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the Secretatry of the U.S. Department of Education. This qualifying educational program must have been completed within the preceding 2 years. There are 2 exceptions:
- Certain veterans precluded from applying within the timeframe due to a military service obligation have up to 6 years from completing their education to apply; and

PHYSICAL EFFORT: The work is mostly sedentary, but there is a moderate amount of walking involved, with infrequent bending, lifting, and stooping. Vision should be sufficient to read from a computer screen for prolonged periods without excessive fatigue. Data input into the computer requires prolonged use of keyboard.
WORKING CONDITIONS: The incumbent will typically perform work in an adequately lighted and climate controlled office. The incumbents role will require occasional travel to and from sites within GLA, the VISN 22 office, and other VISN 22 health systems.
