Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
***Experience in negotiating fair and equitable terms for the acquisition of real property.
***Experience in real estate acquisition and disposition principles, practices, and techniques as applied to the acquisition and disposal of real estate holdings in US and overseas locations using federal and local laws and regulations.
***Experience in determining the effects of social, legal, economics, political and financial trends on a realty market.
***Experience resolving complex real property issues in foreign countries and in the U.S. through working with teams of realty specialist.
There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-13 position.
