Duties:  The incumbent serves as Nursing Assistant/Telemetry Technician in Nursing Service.  The primary purpose of this position is to provide continuous electrocardiographic monitoring for each patient who is ordered telemetry.  This technician is specifically trained to provide close monitoring of cardiac rate, rhythm and conduction and recording hte information in the patient's computerized electronic record.  When not performing the duties of a Telemetry technician you will be assigned other patient care duties as needed.

Work Schedule: Primarily 3:30PM to 12:00AM, including weekends and holidays.  May be required to work other shifts as necessary.

Applicant must possess 6 months general experience or 6 months specialized experience or 2 year above high school with courses(s) related to the occupation.  If you are basing any part of your qualification on education, you will be required to provide transcripts.

Physical Demands:  In addition to regular and recurring bending, lifting, stopping, walking, stretching, standing, lifting and repositioning patients.  The work may require assignment to all shifts of duty to provide 24 hour coverage, seven days a week.
