QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE: Ability to read, interpret and follow instructions and perform simple calculations in addition and subtraction.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Four (4) months general work experience prferably in a retail environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Incumbent will be required to some walking, bending, and lifting of boxes filled with merchandise. Incumbent should be physically able to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds on occasions. Exposure to heat, cold, and inclement weather; temperature extremes; working around wet or slippery floors, or other day-to-day proximity to similar hazards to personal safety.
You will be rated on the following Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other characteristics (KSAOs) as part of the assessment questionnaire for this position:
Ability to provide customer service.
Knowledge of inventory receiving procedures.
Knowledge of merchandise and stock inventory.
knowledge of housekeeping duties and safety rules.
