This developmental position is located in the Institute of Education Sciences. As a Student Trainee you will:
- Perform analysis and advisory assignments related to the effectiveness of programs and/or the efficiency of the management of operations.
- Conduct studies of work processes and procedures. Identify problems, reviews production standards, and make tentative recommendations for problem resolution.
- Review reports and studies to ensure that user requirements are met and appropriate rules and regulations are utilized.
- Assist in the development of directives and the design, development, documentation, and implementation of various reporting systems.

To qualify for this position, you must be a student enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a qualifying educational or certification program. To qualify for the GS-9 Level: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related or 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 level.
