About the Position:

This position is in the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Operations Directorate, Western Regional Command, DCMA Sunnyvale

Permanent Change of Station (PCS) may be authorized.

Business Travel required 10% of the time.

Major Duties: 

·       Serves as Management Assistant to the one or more Operations Group Leaders at a Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Contract Management Office (CMO).

·       Provides broad-based, multi-faceted administrative assistance to the Group Leader.

·       Conduct special studies, performs analyses, provides support, and prepares necessary reports to upper management and other Groups within the CMO.

·       Responsible for coordinating Team Leaders’ meetings.

·       Responds to inquiries, providing guidance of current procedures and policy statements and maintains records, and submits required reports.

·       Coordinates all training within the Group.

·       Input time and attendance in an automated system

Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (GS-06).  Specialized experience is defined as work that involves a variety of administrative support duties including planning, researching information and furnishing statistical data; analyzing data to develop recommendations for efficiency improvements; preparing correspondence; and maintaining/updating records.
