Fort Leavenworth is often referred to as "The Best Hometown in the Army".  It overlooks the Missouri River on the border between Kansas and Missouri. It is home to the Combined Arms Center, which is considered by many to be the “Intellectual Center of the Army".  Its campus-like setting, open green landscape, and hometown friendliness enhance Fort Leavenworth as a historical landmark.

Provides Customer Service to golfing patrons to include booking tee times, answering phones, checking in and ringing up golfers.  Performs general custodial duties to include dusting, cleaning equipment, and organizing Golf Shop.   Opens, closes, and secures the Clubhouse. Validates morning and evening cash counts, makes deposits, and resolves discrepancies in conjunction with the Management Team.  Provides on course support to golfing patrons as needed.

Receives cash or credit cards in payment for merchandise and gives change as required. Maintains record of sales. At the end of shift, turns in sales records, money, customer checks or charge slip and accounts for all moneys and items sold. Provides information concerning availability of goods sold, prices and condition of merchandise. Keeps records of customer traffic during the day, and identifies slow or fast moving items and trends in customer comments or complaints. May prepare requisitions for items sold, insures that proper stock levels are maintained; secures stock at close of business. Cleans counter or serving area. Inventories canteen daily and assists with monthly inventory. Maintains a pleasant demeanor ensuring a positive customer relationship.

Responsible for overall operation of mobile sales truck, performs operator safety checks on vehicle daily, and notifies supervisor of any vehicle malfunction or required service. Maintains service record or reports relative to the operation of assigned vehicle.

As a Recreation Delivery System (RDS) team member the incumbent may be assign similar work in various facilities depending on demand/programmed activities. May be required to assist operation team with set-up/take-down of equipment and facilities to support market-driven programs and activities.

Experience in inventory control and ability to operate a cash register.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide at level necessary to complete required reports.
Must pass physical examination (ability to lift 50 pounds).
Must possess valid drivers license.
