JOB SUMMARY:

US Army Veterinary Services operates as a subsidiary of Public Health Command.Their mission is to provide military veterinary services in support of United States Army Medical Command and Department of Defense missions. The civilian function of the Veterinary Services is a supplemental mission which exists to assist soldiers and their families in the field of animal health and care.

This is a Flex 00 position at the Camp Lejeune, Veterinary Treatment Facility. The selected candidate will serve as an Information Receptionist resonsible for receiving calls and visitors courteously, asking pertinent questions and giving information/directions to our customers. Perform duries in connection with security controls and performs cashier/clerical duties; Prepare recurring reports on numbers of visitors, passes issued, etc; Prepare sign in sheets and maintain related records for our Animal Health Records.   The ideal applicant would be computer proficient, using Microsoft Word, and Excel and have the ability to multi-task.

Demonstrated ability and experience or education to perform the duties of the position.

 

Best Qualified Criteria: Applicants with prior experience working in a Veterinary clinic or equivalent.



 


Conditions of employment:

Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid experience or volunteer work.
