For this position individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:

- Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
Specialized Experience: Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
Specialized experience is defined as one (1) year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the grade level 12 in the Federal service which includes: experience analyzing, evaluating large scale information technology databases to identify and combat program fraud and abuse; recommending options for resolution to complex issues affecting Medicare and/or Medicaid data; IT systems application design and development.

Security and Background Requirements: If not previously completed, a background security investigation will be required for all appointees. 2.
