As an Administrative Officer, your major duties will include but are not limited to the following:
·Advise program managers regarding budgetary concerns such as projected shortfalls or unanticipated financial needs.Provide advice regarding significant deviations from original plan.
·Perform the full-range of general administration and advisory services and/or functions, performing all that apply: outside activities, time and attendance, relocation requests, human resources services, facilities management, property management, space/logistics, safety/security, and travel.
·Interpret policies and procedures in the management of space and facilitates.Manage and monitor the budget, design, construction and modification of existing and/or new space.Responsible for tracking overhead costs associated with assigned space.
To qualify for the GS-09: You must demonstrate in your resume at least (one) 1 year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-7 level in the Federal service. Examples of specialized expereince include: assisting in the planning, formulation and/or execution of organizational budgets; analyzing routine expenditures and spending plans; drafting specifications or statements of work for use in contracts; conducting routine cost comparisons and estimates; coordinating procurement, property, and space management functions; providing advice on routine human resource issues and preparing HR documents for use in recruitment efforts.
OR have completed a Masters or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.B. or J.D., if related;
OR have a combination of post baccalaureate education and experience that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.
