If you have experience with electrical and power systems; installing, maintaining, repairing and modifying wiring and control equipment through which electricity flows, and troubleshooting and repairing electrical circuitry and equipment, such as fan motors from 3 hp to 60 hp, transformers, pumps, air-conditioning and heating equipment, fluorescent, incandescent, direct and indirect lighting equipment, fluorescent dimming systems and controls, 277 volt parking lot lights, emergency warning systems, timing and recording devices, distribution panels, and connections for computer equipment, machines and office appliances, and you want to play a significant role in a dynamic organization, then consider joining the NIH Office of Research Facilities (ORF)!

This is a bargaining unit position represented by a union.
This position focuses on the electrical duties. State and local building codes and the National Electrical Code must be followed when performing work.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a level 5-Public Trust Security Clearance. This level 5 security clearance must be maintained in order to stay in the position. A select agent clearance is also required for this position.
