SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: In order to qualify for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
· Counsel personnel on eligibility requirements, availability of housing, application procedures for on-station and current on/off station referral procedures and services.
· Determine eligibility, bedroom entitlement and application control date for placement on the appropriate Wait List.
· Operate data processing equipment to input housing applications, housing listings, and retrieve lists and reports.
· Accept and prepare applications for off-station housing and provide listings of available off-station units.

SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position: 4 years above high school. This education must be obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite.
COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be combined to meet the total qualification requirements.
