Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
-Experience planning and directing the delivery of a broad range of management services that support the administration of Bureau programs.
-Experience reviewing and approving overall plans and objectives for the programs directed and ensuring that policies, standards, and performance metrics are in place to ensure services are delivered.
-Experience participating in the planning and development of major new initiatives to enhance the ability of the Office to meet current and future management services needs.
-Experience directing assessments of the impact of new legislation, new program requirements, emerging technology, shifts in resource availability, and other developments on the management services program.
-Experience exercising the full range of management responsibilities and authorities associated with the direction of the assigned organization.
-Experience overseeing the implementation of a comprehensive workforce planning process within the Office to ensure that the organization is continuously staffed with adequate numbers of high quality employees.
-Experience participating with other Executive Office senior management officials in developing and implementing goals, objectives, policies, and plans for the Executive Office.

In addition, applicant's experience must also demonstrate that the candidate possesses the following qualities:
