This is a permanent position located with the Pacific Northwest Research Station, Station Director's Office in Portland, OR. This position is responsible for providing administrative, secretarial and clerical assistance to the Assistant Station Director for Research and Assistant Director (AD) for Program Development. This position serves as a personal assistant with responsibility for maintaining effective communication channels with internal and external contacts. Maintains the daily calendar, including making appointments and arranging conferences and meetings without specific prior approval. Reviews all outgoing correspondence for neatness, accuracy, adherence to established format, and adherence to policies.
