Specialized Experience: To Qualify applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GG-12.
Specialized experience is defined as: Experience which demonstrates (1) A thorough knowledge of Staff Management. (2) Policy and Program Management. (3) Counterintelligence operations as they relate to Staff Management. (4) Ability to organize and problem solve. (5) Ability to provide complex oral and written communication at the senior level. AND Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. Creditable specialized experience may include previous military intelligence experience, experience gained in the private sector or in another government agency as long as it was at a level at least equivalent to the next lower grade in the series. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency (knowledge, skills, abilities) in the following areas:
. Staff Management
. Policy and Program Management
. Counterintelligence Operations related to Staff Management
. Ability to organize and problem solve
. Ability to communicate at the senior level
NOTE: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency so long as it was at a level at least equivalent to the next lower grade in the series.
EDUCATION: Experience may not be substituted with education at this grade level.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on SSBI and eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) may be required 35% or less of the time.
Permanent Change of Station (PCS) is not authorized.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license.
Must be able to pass the Army Defensive Driver's Training Course.
