- This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to do the work of a Hazardous Waste Disposer without more than normal supervision such as:
- Collect hazardous waste from chemical tanks, degreasers and collection hoppers.
- Prepare processed and non-processed hazardous waste for storage and disposal.
- Repack, consolidate and/or blend hazardous wastes into proper containers for containment and shipment.

PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. Selectee may be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
The employee will be required to furnish normal tools of the trade used on a day to day basis.
The employee must possess and maintain a valid state drivers license and a Class B CDL with HAZMAT Endorsement and must maintain on-base driving privileges once obtained. (Must be attached or verifiable via your resume.)
During destructive weather conditions such as, but not limited to, ice and snowstorms, high winds, and hurricanes, incumbent may be required to report for duty.
Incumbent will also be subject to call back for work during off-duty hours when an emergency arises to include weekends and holidays.
Overtime may be required.
