This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL such as: working from electrical or electromechanical blueprints, manufacturers manuals, and schematics to test, install and repair electrical equipment (i.e., motors and controls) in shops or industrial/commercial areas. Planning and laying out work and determine work sequence. Troubleshooting problems in circuit diagrams used to install and replace generators, motors and motor controllers, transformers, switchboxes, circuit breakers, etc., on single phase or multiphase circuits in commercial (non-residential) buildings. Using a variety of hand tools and portable power tools, such as screw drivers, pliers, wire cutters, strippers, drills, soldering irons, and manual or power conduit benders and threaders, and some test equipment (i.e., multimeters, meggers, test lamps, and ammeters).
