As a Power System Dispatcher, you will be working in the Operations Center in Springfield, Missouri as part of the Division of Scheduling & Operations, Office of Corporate Operations. You will be responsible for transmission dispatching, generation dispatching, and reliable operation of the Southwestern Power Administration (Southwestern) transmission system and balancing area.

We market federally produced hydropower from 24 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers multipurpose dams in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.

- Must have proof of CURRENT NERC CERTIFICATION
- Designated and/or Random Drug Testing required.
- Background and/or Security Investigation required.
- Requires 24 hour rotating shifts. May include weekends and holidays.
