To be qualified, you must type at least 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.
To be eligible at the GS-9 level, you must have a least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-8 level.
Specialized experience is defined as experience performing the following types of duties: providing administrative and technical supervision or team leadership to employees; providing training, direction, or leadership to employees; preparing various documents which are complex, including those of a legal technical nature, reports, travel, etc.; independently developing, updating, and maintaining forms and policies.

If selected, you may be required to complete a one year probationary period.
If selected, you will be subject to the satisfactory completion of a one year supervisory or managerial probationary period unless this requirement has been met previously.
