US Army Veterinary Services operates as a subsidiary of Public Health Command. Their mission is to provide military veterinary services in support of United States Army Medical Command and Department of Defense missions. The civilian function of the Veterinary Services is a supplemental mission which exists to assist soldiers and their families in the field of animal health and care.

This is a FLEX 00 position at the NAS Lemoore, Veterinary Treatment Facility (VTF). Lemoore NAS VTF is a small animal clinic that is open 5 days a week, with animal care clinics 2-3 days a week. On a monthly basis, our clinic holds both a spay/neuter and dental clinic. Our clinic day consists of animal vaccinations, preventative health care procedures, evaluation and treatment of sick animals. Lemoore NAS offers a professional and courteous working environment. Our clinic is looking for a Compassionate, Dependable, Honest, Knowledgeable, and Courteous Veterinarian.


Please Note: Salary is pro-rated based on 40 hours per week. Salary will pay on actual hours worked. Hourly rate of pay range is: $32.58 to $40.72.

Possess a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree, i.e., Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), obtained at a school or college of veterinary medicine accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association Council on Education (AVMA). Must be state licensed to practice veterinary medicine.

Best Qualified Criteria: Possess previous experience working in a Veterinary Clinic or equivalent.

Possess a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree, i.e., Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), obtained at a school or college of veterinary medicine accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association Council on Education (AVMA).

Conditions of employment:

1. You must meet all qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

2.
