This position is located in the Facilities Sustainment Branch, Naval Facilities Engineering Command Mid Atlantic (NAVFAC MIDLANT), at the Naval Education and Training Center, Newport, RI.

·         Assist Journey level Mechanics of different trades by performing basic and repetitive helper type tasks in any trade.

·         Occasionally work with hazardous materials, such as oil spill containment.

The Screen-out Element for this position is:  Ability to do the work of a Maintenance Worker without more than normal supervision such as: Experience performing the duties of a Maintenance Worker, under close supervision, assisting Journeymen in various trades as instructed.  I have performed the basic and repetitive duties of trades work, such as Carpentry, Pipefitting, Painting, Electrical, and Pest Control.  I have completed work after receiving oral or written instructions.
