QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Citizenship : Citizen of the United States

Education: Graduate of an NLN accredited or State approved School of Nursing

Licensure/Registration : Current, full, active and unrestricted license/registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia required.

Required Experience:  Emergency department experience as an RN within the past year required

Certification: Basic LIfe Support (BLS) Certification / Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

 

Preferred Experience: Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.


Education : Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State agency, and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant.

The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), an accrediting arm of the National League for Nursing or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), an accrediting  arm of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN). All education claimed by applicants will be verified by the appointing agency accordingly. FOREIGN EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:  To receive credit for education completed outside the United States, you must show proof that the education has been submitted to a private organization that specialized in interpretation of foreign educational credentials and such education has been deemed at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education programs.

To Qualify for this position:

You must be a U.S. Citizen

You must submit to a drug test and receive a negative drug test before you can be appointed into this position

You must have a certification, licensure, or registration credentials in Registered Nursing

You will need to successfully complete a background security investigation before you can be appointed into this position

You must pass a pre-employment medical examination
